Reasons Behind the introduction of Safari in Bala Quila

The forest area of Alwar was undertaken by Sariska Tiger Reserve in 2013 which started nurturing the forest to protect it from deforestation and poaching.

It’s not that easy to protect the forest from such problems, as it requires a good amount of human resources such as forest guards and it was close to impossible.

So the forest department of Sariska National Park came up with the idea to introduce a Jungle safari for tourists Day and Night which will boost tourism and help the forest department to do patrolling in the forest day and night without any extra effort.

But now, due to an increase in the Tiger movement (ST18 Male & ST19 Female) in the Bala Quila buffer zone, the forest department took the decision to put a full stop on the Night Safari due to safety reasons.

Night Safari in Bala Quila – Sariska

Night Safari in Sariska was introduced in July 2016 in the Bala Quila eco-tourism zone to attract tourists but now it has been stopped due to an increase in the Tiger movement in the region.
