1. Bala Quila

A 1200-year-old fort is situated on the head of a hill that looks like the crown of the city. The fort is located just 2 km from the Alwar city within the Sariska Tiger Reserve buffer zone. Along with the beautiful architecture, it has great biodiversity around the fort, the forest area around Bala Quila has a good density of sambhar, peafowl, porcupine along with the presence of tigers, leopards, jungle cats, other birds, and reptiles. Alongside the fort has historical moments with Mughal era, during the Akhbar rule his rebellious son Salim ( Emperor Jahangir) was deported to Bala Quila for 3 years as the punishment.

2. Bhangarh Fort

One of the most haunted forts of Asia is located 90 km from Alwar, Rajasthan. It is famous as the city of ghosts and is a treasure of archeologists’. The ruined fort, the market buried under the earth, and many old temples of great architectural value are the top attractions for the visitors who visit here. Bhangarh is hardly 5.5 km from Sariska and about 20 km from Dausa (District Headquarters on Jaipur-Agra National Highway).

2. Pandupole

The panadol is situated 21 km from the main entrance of the Sariska tiger reserve (Sariska Gate). It is a 20 ft by 15 ft hole at a height of 300ft from the ground, this gateway on a hillock was made by Bhim from Mahabharata using his Gada (mace) in search of water. A temple of Sleeping Lord Hanuman is also situated in the same valley which is just 0.5 km before Pandupole. It is believed that Lord Hanuman broke the boast of Bhim and blessed him here.

A very beautiful palace was built by the ruler of the Alwar state, Maharaja Vinay Singh in the 18th century. The lower stories are being used by various government offices and the upper floors of this palace have a museum that has the rarest collections of books, manuscripts, paintings, King clothes, and weaponry. The City Palace is just 3.7 km from the Alwar railway station.

This monument was built in memory of Maharaja Bakhtawar Singh and his queen, Rani Moosi. The architecture ist blend Indo-Islamic style, the upper portion comprising columned pavilions and domed arches is made of marble while the lower section consists of pillars in red sandstone.

The foundation of Sariska Place was laid by Maharaj Jai Singh in 1890. It was built to give a grand welcome to the son of Queen Victoria who was the Duke of Connaught. The architecture and the location of the palace within the forest are the most attractive features. Previously the palace was used as the hunting ground by the royal families of Alwar, but now it is converted into a heritage resort and which hosts 100 Rooms and suites in total.

26. Vijay Mandir Palace

A 100-year-old fort surrounded by a lush green garden and has a lake on the backside of it. The fort was built by Maharaja Jai Singh for the residential purpose, it has 105 rooms in it total and the architecture of the fort is itself impeccable. 27. Neemrana Fort

The Neemrana fort was build in 1464 by Rajput Maharaja Prithvi Raj Chauhan III. It was last ruled by Raja Rajinder Singh and in 1947 after independence, Raja left this place abandoned and move to Vijay bagh as the fort structure started giving up. Later in 1986 the ruins of this place were renovated and converted into a Heritage property. Currently, they host 77 suites/rooms in the lap of a beautiful hill.

28. Tijara Jain Temple

This place is known as the Place of Salvation. The Tijara Jain Temple was built in 1956, and here you will find the 15 inches idol of Chandra Prabhu in Padmasana Mudra made of white marble. Beside the temple, there are some local vendors near the temple from where you can purchase pickles, papad, namkeen, and various daily necessities goods.
